A Journey from 'Jenny Morten Pottery' to 'Morten Gallery'

The exhibition includes examples of ceramics from Jenny Morten Pottery started in South London in June 1972 and the following partnership of J&G Morten Ceramic Designs which continued until 1989 in Richmond, North Yorkshire.

From their new studios in Darlington, Jenny started making her sculptural hand built ceramics and Geoff  began his large semi - abstract figurative oil paintings.

Pieces from the 1990s will be on show in this exhibition accompanied by  archive material of Exhibitions, Artist residencies and workshops undertaken until the couple moved to California in 2003.
